Understanding Your Property Tax

In 2017, due to a budget shortfall and a need for fire services in our community, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve a property tax rate of $.22 per $100 of assessed value.


The Coopertown Board of Mayor and Aldermen are constantly reviewing roads within our community for repair and repaving to guarantee the best utilization of your property tax dollars. Also, the contract for fire services with the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department is reviewed annually as part of the overall budgeting process.


Property Taxes may be paid in person at City Hall via check or cash, or you may pay online through the link below.
