Due to the growing concerns over the COVID-19 virus, Coopertown City Hall will be CLOSED to walk-in’s. We will remain fully staffed, with some staff working remotely and some in the office. We are asking for your patience please. If we miss your call please leave your name and number on our voicemail and someone will return your call as soon as possible. We are also available to answer emails, and take in any payments submitted by mail. WE NOW HAVE A DROP BOX OUTSIDE OUR FRONT DOOR! Drop Box will be checked Monday-Friday and payments will be processed the day it arrives. After our October Community Developement meeting it was decided the Town would cancel the Barrel Festival and all its activities for 2020. There are many reasons we had to make this decision. One contributing factor being the construction taking place at the Coopertown Elementary School.
We will revisit plans for a future Barrel Festival when construction is complete and we can get community involvement to organize and bring this event back to our community.
Thank you to those who helped make this popular event a success for the past 7 years. And thank you to the citizens who came out to enjoy the day with us.
