The Town of Coopertown will be providing Chipping Services for citizens during the month of October on the following dates: October 1st,15th, 22nd, 29th, and November 5th. If you have tree limbs you would like chipped please place the limbs in a large pile with all the stems in one direction. The pile of limbs must be accessible from the road. If the stems are in multiple directions (as in a burn pile) or if your stack to be chipped is not at the edge of the road the street crew will not be able to chip them for you.

THE COOPERTOWN COMMISSION FOR CULTURE, HISTORY, AND ARTS IS SEEKING ANY INFORMATION THAT CAN BE PROVIDED CONCERNING THE FRIERSON CHAPEL METHODIST CHURCH AND SCHOOL LOCATED IN COOPERTOWN. ANY FORMER CHURCH MEMBERS, OR FORMER STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL, OR IF YOU HAVE LOVED ONES BURIED AT THE CEMETERY SHOULD CONTACT COOPERTOWN CITY HALL 615-382-4470. THIS INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR PRESERVATION AND INTERPRETATION OF THIS HISTORICAL SITE.

Coopertown is located 25 miles north of Nashville and 20 miles south of Clarksville on Interstate 24 in Robertson County, Tennessee.
