Christmas on the Square 2009
Held in November 2009 on the square in downtown Springfield, TN.
Thank you to those who volunteered of their time Saturday by manning the booth. Special thanks to Jeff and Julie Alsup who brought their Honeysuckle Hill Farm 'train' for volunteers to ride in during the parade and Jimi Chappell for the many Christmas decorations loaned to us to make the booth extra festive.
Jerri Ann Head, her dog Madison, and Roads Supv. Gordon Rhodes' son, Trent, stop by to see the Coopertown booth.
Oh! What a beautiful Christmas tree! Thank you Gordon Rhodes for helping to erect it and the EZ Up Tent. We couldn't have done it without you and Mayor Childs' help.
Kay James mans the booth.
Mayor Childs stops to talk to Vice Mayor Ruth's daughter and son-in-law. V.M. Peggy Ruth, her husband Henry, man the booth. Rhoni Bogard, City Recorder, is seated with her son Daniel (hidden behind Mayor).
The day was cool but sunny - there were plenty of visitors to the booth. Thank you Jimi Chappell with "Chappel Acres" for donating the Coopertown sign (see front of table) and the many decorations used to decorate the Coopertown booth.
Henry Ruth gets out more pens for handing out to folks who stop by the booth.
Thanks to Jeff and Julie Alsup from Honeysuckle Hill Farm for bringing their train, "Honeysuckle Hill Express", in for the parade. City Recorder, Rhoni Bogard, son Daniel & City Clerk, Vicky Bumgardner threw candy out to the crowd while riding through tow
